Blue Marble Remixed Follows up from her debut 2019 album Blue Marble, Knight’s self-produced solo album, thought provoking and conscious, yet soothing and dreamlike. The album is named after the famous image of Earth taken from Apollo 17, and it brings a collection of tracks all inspired and held together by the theme of unity. Consisting of club ready tracks Blue Marble Remixed see’s an array of home grown and international talent. Producers have chosen the track they felt they have a bond with thus the same songs get to exist in these alternate realities which means people with different styles of music get to have a relationship with the track.

‘Regret It’ kicks off with creator of the Florida breaks sound ‘Lift the Ground’, taking a poignant song about a break up in the style of Bat for Lashes and Warpaint. Heavily reverb-laden toms and claps ring out during the verses. Now growing superbly twisted bass delicately layered chorus characterised by lush legato violin performed by John Garner. Creeping synths and haunting vocal harmonies deliver a perfect masterpiece.

Lift The Ground
Hailing from Orlando, Florida. LIFT THE GROUND started as a side project of veteran producer/engineer, Chris Marchese (FORCE OF HABIT, DISCOSYNTHETIQUE). Focusing on melodic bass, this one-man operation has been adding his definitive style to countless projects and considered a pioneer of the FLORIDA BREAKS sound.
